Football vs. Cypress Lakes (Pridgeon Stadium); Game Time: 6:00 pm
Chaperones: You will ride a student bus and take attendance each time students return to the bus. Check to make sure students have all necessary items (instrument, water jug, uniform, etc.). Make sure no trash is left on the bus when we return to the school. You will also have duties during the game such as music pick-up, trash pick-up, handing out student drinks after halftime, monitoring restrooms and stairs, etc. Includes transportation and entry to the game. PLEASE WEAR A CY-FALLS SHIRT & ARRIVE AT THE BAND HALL BY 3:00 PM
Color Guard Chaperones: Same duties as chaperones but will assist more with Color Guard group. Includes transportation and entry to the game. PLEASE WEAR A CY-FALLS SHIRT & ARRIVE AT THE BAND HALL BY 3:00 PM
Equipment Crew: Help load and unload equipment before the game, at the stadium, and when we return to school. Also help push props/equipment onto the field for halftime. Includes entry to the game, but equipment crew drives their own vehicle to the game. ARRIVE AT THE BAND HALL BY 3:15 PM
First Aid: At least one chaperone per game will be designated as First Aid – must be an EMT, nurse, doctor, etc. (First Aid certified) The First Aid Chaperone will ride the bus and stay with the group during the entire event. Includes entry to the game. PLEASE WEAR A CY-FALLS SHIRT & ARRIVE AT THE BAND HALL BY 3:00 PM **NOTE: IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN LEARNING WHAT A FIRST AID CHAPERONE DOES, PLEASE LET ME KNOW AND ONE OF OUR CURRENT FIRST AID CHAPERONES CAN GUIDE YOU. WE WILL NEED 2 FIRST AID CHAPERONES ON COMPETITION DAYS!**
Band Aide: Assist with chaperone duties at the stadium during the game. If you are unable to chaperone, help with equipment or serve meals, this is a great way to help the band. You provide your own transportation and ticket to the game. Once you are at the stadium, you should come to the band area and find me – Gaby Torres. I will give you a badge and will discuss your responsibilities. Band Aides provide assistance with keeping track of students going to/from restrooms, watching the stands while band is performing, picking up music, standing at entrances to ensure only band students are in the band area. You can help out for one or two quarters or the entire game.
Food Service: Pre-game only. Arrive at the band hall to set up dinner for the students, hand out dinners and drinks, and help clean up after dinner. No transportation or entry to the game is provided. ARRIVE AT THE BAND HALL BY 2:45 PM
Driver Treats: Prepare and deliver 12 treat bags for the bus and truck drivers. Treat bags can include sweet/salty snacks, water and/or juice, but no items with nuts. Deliver to the band hall on game day no later than 3:15 pm..
