Required Documents
Participation in the Cypress Falls Golden Eagle Marching Band requires a number of documents to be completed each year. Please ensure that you have completed and submitted all paperwork prior to summer band. Summer band typically begins on the last week of July. This set of documents is required for all band students in CFISD. It includes the following:
- Medical History
- Completed and signed by both parents & students
- Physical
- To be completed by a medical professional
- ECG Request (Freshman Year Only)
- The form must be completed but participation is optional
- Field Trip Permission Form
- Part 1 – Permission to travel
- Part 2 – Permission for band directors to distribute 4 over-the-counter medications as needed.
- UIL Acknowledgement
- Acknowledgement of the rules that we follow within UIL
Submit Paperwork Online
CFISD covers a small portion of our expenses each year including local transportation, uniforms, school owned instruments, etc. As a result, students and the Cypress Falls Band Boosters make up the difference in order for us to attain our goals of being a viable competitive marching and concert band program. We rely on each family to be diligent with their payments so that we can continue to compete at the high level we presently do. Unfortunately, “scholarships” do not exist. However, extended payment plans can be put into place once discussed with the Director of Bands.

This document outlines the core values and expectations set forth by the band directors. Participation in the band program requires both parents & students to sign and complete this documentation.
Houston Astros Star-Spangled Banner Performance Waiver 2024-2025
The Golden Eagle Marching Band has been invited to perform the Star Spangled Banner at a Houston Astros Game. It is our intention that all students participate in this opportunity to perform in a public arena.
When: August 3rd, 2024
Where: Minute Maid Park
Who: Versus the Seattle Mariners
Ticket Information
All students must have a ticket in hand to travel to the game. Please check your email for a special link to purchase tickets at $35 each. Parents are welcome to be spectators and attend the game as well.
