We are excited to continue the CyFalls Flags program as a way to provide a public service while raising needed funds to support the band. Students and parents place over 775 US flags in the front yards of our community neighbors on patriotic holidays throughout the year! The band directors and Cypress Falls Band Boosters extend our sincere appreciation to all of our subscribers and to the dedicated students and parents who volunteer their time on behalf of the band and this program. Program Summary
The band will place an American flag in your front yard at the start of six patriotic holidays during the year and retrieve the flag at the conclusion of each holiday. The cost is $40 per year with proceeds benefitting the band. Money earned helps enable the band compete at national, regional, and local events. Participation is currently limited to the Cypress Falls High School area. The six holidays include:
- President’s Day – February
- Memorial Day – May
- Independence Day (Fourth of July)
- Labor Day
- Patriots Day (9-11)
- Veteran’s Day
* Flags are left out for display between Labor and Patriots day due to the closeness of the holidays
Note: If hazardous conditions exists, flags will not be displayed.
How Do I Participate?
The annual cost is $40 per flag for each residence or business. If you would like multiple flags, each will cost $40. Participants can join at anytime during the year.
