Spring Band Trip 2025 - Day 3

Wake up call was at 8am. Breakfast from 8:30-9:30. New private room but same breakfast as yesterday.

Checked out each room making sure all personal belongings were packed up and the rooms were left in good shape. Kids did very well. Some even made the beds. Impressive.

Loaded the bus including all our luggage and headed for Sea World. Arrived slightly before the park opened. After the lathering of sunscreen we followed like little ducks towards the gate. Metal detectors. Bag check and ticket scanner. We had the meal deal where we get a meal every 90 minutes like at fiesta Texas but this time we had to turn in our paper tickets for wrist bands. Why they couldn’t have just given us the wrist bands in the first place, the world may never know. But about 30 minutes later they scanned all the paper tickets in exchange for wrist bands. 🫣

Kids took out towards the big roller coasters while the directors and chaperones scoped out a check point place. And in AC with food, drinks and restrooms. Score!

The kids had a great day. It was a bit hot at 92 degrees but there’s not too many that look a shade of pink. They were able to ride the coasters multiple times because of short lines so that was nice.

Final check in was at 6pm. Some were slightly after 6pm. We wont name names. Loaded the giant banana under the bus. See pic below. Stopped at Buccees in luling for a 15 minute dash inside. Even with all of that we are still ahead of schedule to make it back to Cy Falls before 10pm.

Cypress Falls Band Spring Trip 2025 - Day 2

7:30am wake-up call. Everyone’s blue tape was still attached so that’s a good thing. Nobody was wondering during the night.

Breakfast was in a ballroom all to ourselves in the same room we had pizza the night before. Eggs, potatoes, bacon and sausage. Breakfast ended and 9am. Everyone gathered in their matching trip shirts in the lobby to load the bus for Fiesta Texas.

Arrived slightly after gate opened. Handed out their paper tickets and paper all day meal vouchers. Little scary. You loose this. You don’t enter the park. You loose this one and you will be buying your own meals today. Luckily we had no issues and kids and adults got to eat every 90 minutes. We also got a refillable cup so everyone stayed hydrated. Maybe a little pink from the sun but hydrated.

Lots of great thrill rides. Mid afternoon check in was at 3pm. Took photos of the kiddos for proof of life. Lol everyone was accounted for. A few left the park soaking wet from water rides. All in all it was a great day. Made it back to the hotel around 8:30pm. Kids are roaming around again in the lobby. A few in the gym. Not sure how they have the energy. But hey. You do you.

Room check is 10pm. Taping the doors again and doing head counts. Wake up call is a little later. 8am. Headed to Sea World tomorrow for another fun day. ... See MoreSee Less
